JALTCALL 2026 Giving a Presentation

 On-Site Technology and Requirements

Regular Presenters

  • Bring your own computer to connect with our HDMI cables. All presentation rooms are provided with an HDMI cable to connect to the screen.
  • Don't forget your computer adapter/dongle if you need it to connect to the HDMI.
  • Bring your charger for your device to make sure you don't run out of power.
  • Include a QR code for people to scan and connect with you, or a direct link in your presentation slides. 
  • Do not expect others to have a compatible device/dongle/charger, please bring your own.

➡️ ADDING CO-PRESENTERS  ⬅️

Up to 5 additional can be added to a proposal by the original submitter sending them the URL to connect (within 72 hours). 
  1. Go to "Your JALTCALL 2026 Profile" submission page and click on "Invite Co-Presenter." This will provide you with the URL to join. 
  2. Share this with your co-presenter. 
  3. All co-presenters must have an Edzilla account, and they must also pay the respective conference fee. 

Poster Presenters

  • Bring your printed poster. We recommend a vertically oriented, A1-size poster.  
  • Include a QR code for people to scan and connect with you.
  • Mount your poster early. This allows attendees and other poster presenters to read your poster.
  • Give the poster presentation during your scheduled time
  • Take down your poster no later than 5pm and leave the area clear.
  • We shall provide double-sided tape to affix your poster to the poster boards.
  • Take your poster away with you. Any abandoned posters will be destroyed at the end of the conference. 

PRESENTATION ASSETS

Do you have something to share with attendees?
You can add PDFs, images or videos to your session as a "session asset."
  1. Go to your session. You can find this on the schedule or go to ➡️ "Your JALTCALL 2026 Profile."
  2. Click  ➡️ "more" under the title, then the green ➡️ "Customize" button.
  3. Drop image files into the smaller box. (Good for posters) 🖼️ 
  4. If you have a PDF, "choose file" to upload the PDF. This will be available for people to download. The PDF should be within 5 MB. 
  5. If it is a 📽️ video, add the URL to your video. This could be a YouTube link or the URL 🔗 of your video in a Google Drive folder. The video will appear under your session. 
  6. If it is an image, "choose file" to upload the image. The image will appear under your session. The image should be within 1.5 MB, up to around 1500 pixels wide. 
  7. You can add more information about your session. This will appear for attendees to read.
  8. Click  ➡️ "Save".
