Poster Presentation General CALL
How to get Funded - Kaken
This poster, presented by RDR Services, provides a practical overview of key considerations for writing a KAKEN (科研費) grant proposal. Applying for KAKEN can be challenging, particularly when trying to communicate a complex research idea clearly within a limited space. The poster summarizes how proposals are typically evaluated, with a focus on research significance, methodological feasibility, research capability, and international relevance. In addition, it offers concise, experience-based tips for presenting proposals in a way that is accessible to a broad range of reviewers, who may not be specialists in the applicant’s field. Attention is given to clarity of writing, realistic project design, and the effective use of supporting evidence and visuals. The poster also briefly introduces KAKEN review support offered by RDR Services, including feedback from previous grant recipients for those seeking additional input on their applications.

I am interested in virtual exchanges and their potential to transform my students' views of English from a subject to a means of communication with their peers. I am pursuing my PhD in English Education. My research interests include willingness to communicate, motivation, and gaming. Remember to take a listen to the JALTCALL Podcast!
